What Is Real?

In fact the physical objects we "see" around us are merely images that our mind creates to make sense of our surroundings.

The reality is that the chair I'm sitting on, and the beautiful art in front of me are nothing but energy and information.

I can't "see" it. All I receive into my eyes is the light reflected off of those bodies of energy, and the light itself is nothing but energy and information. The information in the light passes through my eyes, through my optic nerves, and then into my brain. At that point my brain constructs an image out of the information.

So I don't literally "see" any physical objects, i.e. bundles of energy and information. I merely have in my mind images that my mind itself fabricated, based on information in the light that was reflected off of some other bodies of energy.

The deeper question is how to become expert at directly feeling, interacting with, and influencing the underlying Universal Energy and thereby avoid being deceived by these mental fabrications that collectively we call the "real world."
