You may have heard of the horrific luge accident in the Winter Olympics yesterday.
Nodar Kumaritashvili, of Georgia, was running the single man luge at probably 100 miles an hour when he lost control, began to swerve, and was hurled off the track where he slammed into a concrete post, and stopped instantly, the back of his neck absorbing the brunt of the impact.
WHY WAS THERE A ROW OF CONCRETE POSTS NEXT TO THE OLYMPIC LUGE TRACK!!!!!!
