Mark Vallen...

...is one jealous, not very good artist.

While looking for Shepard Fairey artwork I constantly hit a negative diatribe against Fairey by an obviously jealous artist called Mark Vallen that accuses Fairey of plagiarism.

Jamie O'Shea does a great job of defending Fairey in an article posted on supertouch. He says everything I would say.

My observations:

1. Vallen's work is not good enough for me to even begin to want to buy any of it. He's not a great artist.
2. I want to buy a lot of Fairey's work, have it on posters, mugs, shirts, whatever. He's a very compelling artist.

Losers always complain about winners.
