There's so much to say. More posts coming. But in the meantime...
OO isn't a programming language, framework, or development environment.
It is a frame of mind.
I'm currently writing a very robust, lean, and mean system that is strictly SOA. I define SOA as "loosely coupled OO"...and it's written in PHP.
