Two Georgia hunters now say they have a body, DNA, and photos and have turned it all over to scientists. They even have a photo of the carcass that is on cnn.com and at the New York Times. Not only that they're going to hold a press conference today at noon (PST) to reveal DNA evidence and photos. A popular bigfoot site gives more detail on the carcass and the upcoming press conference. They say that near where the body was found there is a den of them and they saw some of them too. I hope this all checks out. It would be so cool.
There's a whole helluva lot more that science does not know than it does know. A few days ago researchers stumbled upon a population of 250,000 gorillas -- of a species thought to be near extinction. That's right -- a group of 250,000 that went unnoticed!! That's more than the population of thousands of american towns. Also, the mountain gorilla itself wasn't "discovered" until 1902. The evidence before that was similar in nature to that of Bigfoot -- common knowledge amongst native tribes, footprints here and there, etc. It's too funny how they say it was "discovered" by Robert von Beringe in 1902. Like hell!! What about all the natives that had been telling them they've known of it for a long time?! They'll say the same thing if the evidence today proves the existence of Bigfoot. "We've now discovered Bigfoot!" Who discovered?
So if Bigfoots (Bigfeet?) are real, and they're smart, and they stay in small groups -- hell yeah it could be out there.
Update at 5:05pm EST:
Doesn't look good. Click here for the latest.
Where's the body?
Why don't scientists have it already?
Where is anything?
Then there's this glowing recommendation from an anthropologist:
"I've had interactions with Tom Biscardi in the past, and based on that history, I would say that anything he is involved in is suspect," Idaho State anthropologist and Bigfoot investigator Jeffrey Meldrum told Scientific American .
Then there's this:
"None of this was likely to dissuade skeptics, even among Bigfoot experts, who questioned Biscardi's past ventures and noticed that the body in the freezer looked a lot like a Sasquatch Halloween costume available on the Internet .
'It definitely looks like our costume,' Jerry Parrino, owner of TheHorrorDome.com, told FOXNews.com."
Then there's the report that one of the guys owns a bigfoot touring business. (What do they tour I wonder?)
Oh well. I still believe in the creature!
